Financial literacy program (FLP) focuses on the ability to manage personal finance matters in an efficient manner. It is a key life skill required for an individual’s personal and professional growth. It is important because it enables us to provide for ourselves and avoids situations of debt. PARIVAR Society in association with banks namely District Cooperative Bank, Meerut and Zila Sahakari Bank, Ghaziabad has conducted more than 150 such programs in different villages. Through these awarness programs we reach out to maximum population of the rural section and spread awareness about government and banking schemes for farmers, students, small-scale entreprenuers, and other many schemes for loan and subsidy facility. The importance of maintaining bank account and related facilities is also explained.
